How Do I Apply?

1. Complete the online registration form on this website.

2. Send the below listed documents through Google Drive (see Section 3 below for instructions)

Submit the Bursary Application Form and the required supporting documents through Google Drive. Please carefully follow the instructions in Section 3 below.

2.1 Bursary Application Form: The PDF 2017-2018 bursary application form can be downloaded from the KCSF website. Your responses to all of the sections must be typed. The completed application form should be printed, signed and scanned. Handwritten, incomplete or late applications will not be considered by the KSCF Selection Committee.

 

2.2 Supporting documentation: Scan the following as a single PDF:

a. Proof of full time registration at a post-secondary institution.

b. Proof of tuition payment at a post-secondary institution.

c. Canadian Student Loan/Provincial Student Loan documentation, or if you are not eligible for such loan, a non-eligibility letter from the government (Visa students do not need to provide the non-eligibility letter). Note: If you did not apply for a student loan, please provide reasons in Section 6 of the application form.)

d. T1 Personal Tax Return for the past year and corresponding Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency.

 

3.   Google Drive

3.1 If you do not already have a gmail or other google account, please create one.

3.2 From your account, go to Google Drive.  [download (2)]

3.3 On ‘My Drive’, create a folder called “KCSF 2017-2018 Bursary Application:  [Enter your last name], [Enter your first name]”.

3.4 In that folder, upload the completed PDF application form and a single PDF of the supporting documents, as specified in Sections 2.1 and 2.2 above.

3.5 Share the folder with scholarships@kcsf.ca, and pick ‘Can edit’ in the drop-down menu to the right.

3.6 You must ensure that the folder remains shared withscholarships@kcsf.ca until the announcement of the award recipients in spring of 2018.  Do not delete the folder until this time.  Once the folder is deleted or no longer shared, the Selection Committee may lose its access to the folder.
